We’ve reserved wedding blocks for Friday and Saturday nights at two hotels. Our group rates are good through September 8, but we recommend booking as soon as possible in case the blocks fill up.
21c Museum Hotel

- 21c is a boutique hotel in a historic building with a 24/7 contemporary art museum and original artwork in every room. It’s in the middle of downtown and walking distance to a lot of cool stuff, including our reception venue and the Friday welcome party. It has a bar with great cocktails, which you can drink in the old bank vault or the art gallery (or in the bar). We will be staying here!
- Its mascot is a pink penguin.
Comfort Inn and Suites

- Our group rate is $101 per night.

- The Comfort Inn is convenient by car to downtown Durham—an 8-minute drive or Lyft ride away.
- It does not have a mascot that we know of.
Additional information
- A bus will pick up wedding guests from the 21c hotel on Saturday. The bus will be there at 2:45 pm. The bus will leave the ceremony and cocktail hour site at 6:00 pm to take guests to the reception.
